5 Foods to reduce the problem of Piles

Piles are also called hemorrhoids. Patients feel pain, swelling, and uneasiness during this problem. This problem occurs due to the swelling of the veins in the lower rectum area. Here are five such foods which help to reduce the problem of the piles:  

1. Whole grains
Always consume whole grain like-brewed cereal Dalia and wheat pasta. These foods contain fibre which softens the stool and provides relief from the pain of hemorrhoids.

2. Green vegetables
Green vegetables contain high amounts of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which improve digestion. Broccoli, carrot, sprouts, leaf cabbage, tomato and cucumber can prove beneficial for you.

3. Fruits
Fruits containing high quantities of fibre, minerals, and vitamins, which regulate the bowel movement. Fruit like apples, grapes, berries, and raisins are sources of fibre and are very beneficial. 

4. Beans
Fibre is present in beans, which is beneficial for people suffering from hemorrhoids. Kidney beans, black-headed peas, and legumes are some good choices.

5. Brown rice
Brown rice contains vitamin B6, phosphorus and selenium which help reduce the problem of hemorrhoids and also reduce the symptoms of hemorrhoids. Therefore, during piles, consume brown rice instead of white rice.
