Liver is a very essential organ of the body. It works as a detox agent for the body. It purifies the blood before it goes to the other organs of the body. 1. Adopt a liver friendly diet

A healthy and balanced diet can keep more than half of the diseases at bay. Just like that all you need to do is choose some liver friendly foods and inculcate them to your diet. Some of the foods that are great for your liver include grapes, beetroot, berries, nuts, olive oil and low-fat tea. 

2. Drink more juices

Juices can help you clean your liver and promote its functioning. You can consume a mixed juice of various elements like carrot, beetroot, alma, spinach tomato and other vegetables of your choice.

3. Shed those extra kilos

Being overweight can increase the risk of various diseases. It is harmful to your liver as well. Indulge yourself in more physical exercises and restrict your diet to reach an ideal weight. Consume a healthy diet which can help you lose weight as well as promote good overall health.

4. Stop drinking

Alcohol consumption contributes to a lot of damage to the liver. Continuous alcohol consumption can lead to some severe damage to the liver which can increase the risk of jaundice, cirrhosis, liver failure and even liver cancer. It is very difficult to quit alcohol suddenly but you can reduce its consumption day by day. Reduce the quantity slightly day by day.
